Before picture of reclining porch swing. Cost $ 0.00..........So far so good!
This is what it looked like after disassembly and removing of the old sun damaged cushions. We also went to Lowe's and bought 5 cans of spray paint at 4.40 each can...............Cost so far...$ 22.00 plus tax.
Also this weekend I finally learned to sew. I have been wanting to do that for a long time. So I broke out my grandma Rosie's sewing machine and I had my husband's mom Eva and sister Kathy come over and show me how to make an easy slip cover for my old worn out cushion's. Fabric was given to me by my sister-in-law Kathy..........So cost of fabric $ 0.00
Then after putting it back together......This is the final product....... Not to bad....Considering the cost was a total of $ 22.00 and my time.
Now on to my next cheap project......
I love it. I love it when people RePurpose items. thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteNice to see you've refurbished your patio swing. If others don't have your talent they might want to check out the internet for a more professional cushion replacement. This is the "Grayson" 2 seat patio swing. Replacement cushions and other pieces are available in a choice of fabrics.
