Refurbished Reclining Porch Swing

Hey, guess what ?  I had time to myself this weekend and I actually got to work on a project! My friend Kim was getting rid of her old porch swing and I offered to take it off her hands. This is what it looked like when I started taking it apart. It used to be a green color but has been sun faded.

This is what it looked like after disassembly and removing of the old sun damaged cushions. We also went to Lowe's and bought 5 cans of spray paint at 4.40 each can...............Cost so far...$ 22.00 plus tax.           

 
Also this weekend I finally learned to sew. I have been wanting to do that for a long time. So I broke out my grandma Rosie's sewing machine and I had my husband's mom Eva and sister Kathy come over and show me how to make an easy slip cover for my old worn out cushion's. Fabric was given to me by my sister-in-law Kathy..........So cost of fabric $ 0.00

Then after putting it back together......This is the final product....... Not to bad....Considering the cost was a total of  $ 22.00 and my time.

Now on to my next cheap project......
